Extension employees with firsthand experience in responding to the 2005 Gulf Coast hurricanes examined important issues about Extension’s role in helping devastated communities rebuild. CYFAR representatives described how they are helping families cope with the hurricane’s aftermath. CYFERnet and EDEN members discussed ways to use technology during crises and facilitate a dialogue about ways to enhance Extension’s responsiveness.
