Presenters:

H. Wallace Goddard, Ph.D., Family Life Specialist for the University of Arkansas Extension Service. He was one of four scholars appointed by the U.S. government to develop a model of parenting and has written popular parenting and teen programs that are used nationwide. Dr. Goddard has also written for Meridian Magazine and the Franklin Covey Company.

Karen DeBord, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Child Development Specialist with North Carolina Cooperative Extension. Her more than 20 years of previous Extension experience include county agent experience in Virginia and state specialist responsibilities in Virginia and Missouri. Dr. DeBord provides leadership and support to child development and parenting Extension work in the state, conducts applied research and develops supporting educational materials and programs relevant to community needs.
