4HGISGPS Email Distribution List

We will continue to use the list to communicate with you. Anyone is welcome to join. If you are not now a member but would like to be, click here to join. Our list is confidential. That means that the archives cannot be crawled or searched by search engines and bots, and that to access the archives you must be a member of the list. To check the archives, you need to know your email address and set up a password.

SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT:

• Go to general list website
• Click on: Set or change your LISTSERV password
• Insert in the appropriate box the email address you use to join the list.
• Type a password, repeat it for verification. Submit.
• To activate your password, simply follow the instructions emailed to you. Look for the message "Your new password was registered successfully" before using it with the Web interface.

ACCCESSING THE ARCHIVES and MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION:


• Go to 4HGISGPS LIST WEBSITE and Log in with your email address and password
• You will be in your "Subscriber's Corner" and see a list of all your listservs hosted by the University of Minnesota
• To Access the Archives: Click on the listserv name (in this case, 4HGISGPS).
• To Change Your Settings (unsubscribe, update your email address, temporarily stop messages (the 'on vacation' option to make sure your email box doesn't overflow): Click on SETTINGS beside the list name, make changes, and then click the button at the bottom: "Update Options" or "Leave 4HGISGPS"
• To Send a Message to the List: Click on "POST" beside the list name
